I have a Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W170. My camera has 10.1 megapixels.
The top 10 things I learned about my camera:
1. I learned that I am able to reduce the red-eye phenomenon right away when I take the picture.
2. I learned that I can retouch the pictures and there I have different things I can do.
3. I like that I am able to work over my pictures again and do things like making people smile, reduce the red-eyes, sharpen things, etc.
4. I like that I can protect my pictures if I want that.
5. I learned that I can change the size of the picture if I want to do that.
6. I got to know that my camera has a tool where I can see my pictures in a slideshow and they also have music in the background.
7. I learned that I have a mode dial where I can decide what kind of picture I want to take, like landscape or people.
8. I got to know that my camera has a folder for my favorite pictures.
9. I learned that I am able to change the picture to a black-white one.
10. I got to know some very useful hints what I can do when my picture is shaken or when the exposure isn´t the way it should be.
My questions are:
1. I don´t understand why I am able to say what ISO sensitivity I want to have.
2. I don´t know what the histogram is for or what it is?
3. I don´t know what Macro is for?

Great questions!
ReplyDelete1. If it's a high ISO, you should be able to take a picture with less light (night setting).
2. Check out my blog links
3. It will creat a shallow depth of field for close images. That means, if you have something like a close-up of a flower, the flower will be in focus and the background will be blurry.
Thank you!!
