Andy Goldsworthy

Andy Goldsworthy is an awesome photographer and architect. He uses the nature for his pictures and shows that the nature does what it wants to do. An example might be this image. In this image he puts a lot of branches in water and he waits until the water starts carrying them away. By doing this he shows that the nature does what it wants to do.
I really like what he does with the nature and the way he changes it.

2 photos - Dominique Bollinger

The artist I chose is Dominique Bollinger. She took pictures of flowers with a black background. Her pictures are black/white.

This was actually a red poinsetta in a bucket on the floor. On PS I made the background completely black and changed the contrast of the picture.

This was a white poinsetta. I also made the background completely black and changed the contrast.
I think that I did the pictures the way the artist does them.
My question: Do you like these two pictures better or the other two?

Montage Picture #2

This is my second Montage Picture. For this one I decided on a pig jumping on a trampolin.
I started with the background and added the two layers to it.
I think the focal point is the trampolin because it is the most colorful.
Because the background is a little bit blurry the focus is on the trampolin and the pig.
For the two layers I used the Rule of Thirds.
The colors are mostly in a good composition together. I decided to make the background look a little more like fall and not like summer. So the colors are in a better composition to each other.
I decided to this because it is not real that a pig is jumping on a trampolin.
I have a question for you!
What could I do to make it look more real?
Because I think it looks kind of unreal.
Thank you for reading!!

Montage Picture # 1

This picture shows a buggy, some yellow and some blue balloons and sky with some clouds in the background.
I started with the background. I decided I am going to change the position of the clouds, so it makes the picture look better. Then I put in th buggy next. I decided to use the Rule of Thirds, so I placed it in the left of the picture. The next thing I added were the ballons. First I placed the blue ones, then the yellow ones. I changed the order of the layers and that is what the result is.
There are three layers and one background.
I think that the focal point the buggy is because it is the biggest thing in the picture, although it might not be the most colorful one.
The colors used in this picture are all very bright, like the sky and the balloons. If the sky would be darker it wouldn´t look the way it looks now.
I decided to do this montage because it is nothing that would be real and I got inspirated through the Great Student Samples.
I have a question for you!
Which picture do you like better?
Thank you for reading this!!
